Senior Citrix Engineer

We are working with a leading Housing Association to recruit for a Senior Citrix Engineer on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for supporting and administering the full lifecycle of Citrix infrastructure operations, services, projects, and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Take ownership of Citrix infrastructure operations and service management, ensuring proactive issue resolution and continuous service improvement.
  2. Monitor and manage Citrix related incidents on ITSM, providing timely updates and resolutions.
  3. Develop and maintain the Citrix Work Plan, ensuring annual maintenance and continuous service improvements are implemented.
  4. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, ensuring effective service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  5. Maintain Citrix monitoring and reporting systems, providing insights into infrastructure operations and services.
  6. Produce reports on Citrix infrastructure operations, services, and major incidents, highlighting areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  1. Extensive experience with Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix Cloud, Active Directory, Group Policies, Citrix Profile Management, and VMware ESX.
  2. Expertise in applications packaging, databases, storage, networking, and security, with a focus on PowerShell scripting and automation.
  3. Proven experience managing complex multi-site Citrix infrastructure operations, ensuring high availability and performance.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business and third parties.
