PhD Studentship in Immune Hedgehog Signaling Dynamics

Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute is seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join our research group and work on a project entitled "Immune Hedgehog Signaling Dynamics in Health and Disease". The project aims to shed light on the elusive dynamics of Hedgehog signaling in immune cells using cutting-edge techniques such as chromobody technology, bespoke mouse models, and proximity labeling.

Project DetailsThe student will work with murine and human immune cells to gain fundamental mechanistic insight into Hedgehog signaling dynamics. This knowledge may inform novel therapeutic entry points into cancer, infection, and autoimmunity.

This four-year studentship is funded by Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute and includes full funding for University fees and a stipend of £21,000 per annum for four years.
EligibilityWe welcome applications from both UK and overseas students. Applicants should hold or expect to gain a First/Upper Second Class degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject from any recognized university worldwide. Relevant research experience is strongly encouraged.
