About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Commissioning Editor to join our team at The Quarto Group. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for conceiving and developing innovative children's novelty and book-plus titles that explore high-interest STEAM and trending topics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of approximately 20 titles per year, from initial concept to print-ready files.
  • Collaborate with design colleagues to create innovative and commercial formats and concepts.
  • Liaise with production and design teams to deliver high-quality novelty and book-plus titles.
  • Identify global market trends in children's publishing and the wider children's entertainment space.
  • Work closely with a diverse range of contributors, both in-house and freelance, to deliver projects on time and in budget.
