Role Overview

As a Strategic Client Executive, you will be a proactive business developer and relationship cultivator, adept at understanding the challenges and opportunities faced by businesses in the digital landscape. Your role will involve identifying opportunities for tailored software development and services, ultimately driving positive results for our partners.

This position offers flexible working arrangements from any Waracle office and focuses on strategic account management, business development within existing accounts, and acquiring new clients, primarily in Financial Services, while also extending to Health and Energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee multiple enterprise-level accounts, primarily within Financial Services.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of our clients' industries, strategic goals, organizational culture, and technological challenges to identify partnership and commercial opportunities for Waracle.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement strategic account plans that outline our aspirations and actionable growth and risk management strategies aligned with our core services.
  • Establish and nurture strong, trusted relationships with senior-level clients, understanding their individual objectives and positioning Waracle as a valuable strategic partner.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and exceptional service delivery. Collaborate with Waracle's delivery teams to guarantee seamless project execution, mitigate risks, and provide outstanding service and value.
  • Proactively identify and pursue growth opportunities within accounts. Work alongside Waracle's technical and delivery experts to create customized solutions for our clients and manage the sales process from start to finish.
  • Accurately track sales leads and opportunities, manage financial aspects, and report to senior management on account and opportunity status.
  • Contribute to Waracle's overall client strategy, share best practices, and promote team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • A natural self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, high energy, excellent communication skills, and integrity.
  • Proven experience in directing the multi-year growth of large Financial Services accounts within a design or technology consulting environment.
  • Experience in other key sectors (Energy, Health, or Pharma) is advantageous.
  • Strong sales acumen with the ability to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in both existing accounts and with potential clients.
  • Exceptional communicator capable of influencing at the executive level while being adaptable enough to collaborate with teams on complex delivery solutions.
  • Understanding of the digital product development lifecycle and a solid grasp of technology and software delivery, including design, agile methodologies, mobile, web, cloud, data, and AI.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with and guide multidisciplinary teams to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to execute successfully in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process for this role includes an initial conversation with your dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner, who will discuss Waracle, your expectations for a new position, and the role's benefits.

Following this, you will participate in two introductory interviews with members of our leadership team. The final interview will involve a proposal task, allowing you to showcase your technical skills and learn more about the role.
