About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Works Operative to join our team in Coleford. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all plant and equipment, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to health and safety standards and reporting any concerns to your line manager.
  • Ensure all plant and equipment is properly maintained and operated in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and site procedures.
  • Participate in training and development programs to improve your skills and knowledge in production processes and quality control.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets and meet customer requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of a good sustainability culture at the works.
Requirements
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills to GCSE level.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in a factory environment would be advantageous.
