About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Manager in the management of the home, including rota planning, employee recruitment, and training.
  • Monitor and manage individual employee performance to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve occupancy levels and manage costs effectively.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the needs of our residents are recognized, assessed, and met.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and a willingness to work towards Level 4 or 5.
  • Previous management experience in an elderly care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
