The role places a significant emphasis on digital marketing and social media management. The Marketing & Media Manager will be responsible for crafting match reports, contributing to magazine content, and supervising the team's write-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sports teams to develop and execute content for the marketing strategy, focusing on digital initiatives, social media, website management, and e-marketing.
  • Coordinate with the media team to oversee social media platforms.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and timeliness.
  • Create engaging content for online channels to promote events, foster networking, and enhance community engagement through both written and video formats.
  • Work closely with the Graphic Designer to produce original and captivating artwork.
  • Edit and write content for monthly publications.
  • Support the team in strengthening relationships with sporting partners, including crafting partner stories and organizing media opportunities.
  • Represent the organization at external events to promote various sporting activities.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a marketing and media role, with a focus on digital marketing, content creation, and implementation.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to cultivate relationships with media professionals.
  • Background in live sports, either through work or participation.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
