About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our Operations Department at GradBay. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of all projects within the business, ensuring excellent customer service, quality on site, and protection of margins.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage margins/budgets of each project
  • Ensure quality of equipment, cables, quotes, and engineers adhere to company standards
  • Organize and deliver all projects to standard, working closely with administrators
  • Technical specification of all jobs, cables schedules, and drawings where required
  • Overall management of service contracts alongside a designated engineer
  • Demonstrate pro-active behavior in driving repeat business through quality work and customer delight

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3 years experience in Project Management with Audio Visual, preferably video conferencing systems or similar
  • Experience of Audio Visual drawings and ability to work out if they are feasible
  • Able to manage projects with multiple rooms for different clients at any one time
  • Experience and passion for the Audio Visual sector and staying up to date with the latest products on the market
  • Some prior experience working alongside AV engineers
  • Ability to communicate with customers effectively
  • High level of technical knowledge to deliver solutions accurately
  • Comfortable attending supplier and vendor training sessions to ensure up to date on all technology and products
  • Ability to become certified on supplier/manufacturer accreditations to bolster the Company's standing within that supplier/manufacturer
  • Identify gaps in knowledge and work with the Managing Director to plug these gaps
