The Exhibition Centre Liverpool is a leading event campus that operates a waterfront event space, including the M&S Bank Arena, ACC Liverpool, and Exhibition Centre Liverpool. The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Building Services and be able to demonstrate experience working with a wide range of building fabric and fixtures and fittings, including:

  • Joinery and door furniture
  • Building fabric repairs such as patch plastering
  • Painting and decorating
  • Plumbing and sanitary fittings
  • Roofing systems
  • Flooring and ceiling Systems
  • Drainage and associated systems
  • Basic electrical knowledge

The successful candidate will be expected to participate in our comprehensive PPM regime and be involved in the mark out of spaces for Exhibition builds and assisting the FME's with installation of electrical and water and waste supplies for our event programme.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of current Health and Safety regulations and be able to work within these. Experience in the development and completion of risk assessments, work permits, and procedures for facility maintenance activities is essential, along with a good working knowledge of energy saving initiatives and schemes.
