Early Years Support Assistant

Full-time position available

Competitive hourly rate of £13.50

Experience in a Primary School environment is essential

Teaching Personnel is collaborating with a 'Good' rated Primary School to find a dedicated full-time Support Assistant. This role is designed to provide essential support within the classroom and is expected to continue based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans
  • Engage with students across multiple classes (approximately 28 pupils) to foster a positive learning atmosphere
  • Assist in managing student behavior in accordance with school policies
  • Provide targeted support to individual students, focusing on phonics, mathematics, reading, and writing skills.

Maintaining high standards of conduct is crucial within the school environment; therefore, the ideal candidate must be adept at adhering to the school's behavioral guidelines. A solid background in a Primary School setting is a prerequisite, along with a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum and a genuine passion for education.
