We are looking to recruit Early Career Supply Teachers (ECTs) for work starting in September 2024 based in secondary schools across Preston and surrounding areas for a September 2024 start

About the role

The desired Early Career Supply Teacher (ECT) will be working in our client secondary schools from September 2024, we have various roles available ranging from day to day supply cover to longer term contracts.

The Early Career Supply Teacher (ECT) will be responsible for delivering their subject across Key Stage 3 and 4 to mixed ability classes. We are looking for an Early Career Supply Teacher who is passionate and determined with high expectations of behaviour and attainment.

This is a great opportunity to work and gain experience in a range of secondary schools which could lead to long term or permanent work. This is also a great opportunity to work towards signing off part or all of your induction.

We work with a number of client Secondary Schools in our Preston office across Lancashire, which have an outstanding reputation in their local area and are passionate about ensuring our community provides the best possible education for our children. We provide teachers to schools across Preston, Blackpool, Blackburn, Burnley and Lancaster, so can provide local work.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Early Career Supply Teacher (ECT) you will:

  • Experience of working with secondary school aged children
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A passion for the progress of secondary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
