Job Title: Senior HR Advisor

Reed HR is partnering with a large Not-for-Profit Organisation in North West London to recruit an interim Senior HR Advisor for a 12-month maternity cover. This is a hybrid role, requiring occasional travel to the office. A full driving license and access to a car are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with HR colleagues and demonstrate an understanding of the organisation's strategic vision and values.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an effective HR service.
  • Advise managers on HR policies and procedures, providing pragmatic solutions while adhering to employment law regulations.
  • Gain credibility as a trusted advisor for managers during change and culture shifts.
  • Provide advice on reorganisation structures and help deliver, mitigating risk.
  • Offer guidance on redundancy processes to avoid unfair practice.
  • Support managers on employee relations, including absence, performance, disciplinary, and grievance issues.
  • Experience with ET1 and ET3 Tribunal processes, including preparing bundles.
  • Close ER cases efficiently within specified timeframes.
  • Work with Trade Unions and lead organisational change.
  • Knowledge of planning consultations, including TUPE.
  • Ability to relocate to other resources within the Jewish Care portfolio when required.
  • Liaise with managers to undertake investigations and chair disciplinary hearings.
  • Organise diary appointments, prepare invite letters, and type notes to support managers.
  • Adapt letter templates to reflect individual circumstances.
  • Data input to the HR system to track case work.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and manage complex ER casework.
  • Implement tailored solutions to complex issues, aligning with Jewish Care's policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of employment law and ability to work effectively as a team member or independently.
