About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Finance Institutions Relationship Manager to join our team at Macquarie Group. As a key member of our Financial Management Group, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our collaboration with public and multi-lateral finance institutions, such as the World Bank, the European Investment Bank, and the United Nations Green Climate Fund.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the public and multi-lateral finance institutions
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration and partnership with these institutions
  • Work closely with our global business units, the Climate Intelligence Unit, and the Corporate Affairs teams to contribute to our investment in climate solutions and emerging markets
Requirements
  • A Master's degree or Bachelor's with significant experience (at least 5 years) preferably within public or private finance institutions active in emerging markets and climate solutions
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, summarizing, and quantitative reasoning skills
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to manipulate, analyze, and present data effectively
  • Exceptional communication skills in English (both written and spoken), with proficiency in additional languages considered a plus
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to quickly learn, pay attention to detail, and manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment
