Job Title: VP Corporate Finance Relationship Manager – Acquisition Finance

About the Role:

The Natixis London Branch is seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP Corporate Finance Relationship Manager to join our Acquisition Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for originating and executing sponsor-driven and leveraged corporate acquisition finance transactions in the UK&I, DACH, Benelux, and Scandinavia.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Originate, arrange, and execute leveraged finance transactions predominantly for PE sponsors in UK and Northern Europe, while supporting broader leveraged finance origination in EMEA.
  • Identify deal opportunities by working with the Coverage teams to initiate initial engagement with potentially interested sponsors and corporates.
  • Manage the pitching phase, including initial analysis of the transaction, defining Natixis financing views, and preparing marketing materials.
  • Negotiate commercial points with the syndication team and manage internal credit process.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial sponsors to agree commercial points and convince them to select Natixis as financing bank.
  • Evaluate and conduct in-depth analysis of new opportunities, focusing on credit and underwriting risks.
  • Present transactions to committees and ensure proactive monitoring and review of portfolio exposures.
  • Foster a client-centric culture and provide excellent service to external and internal clients.
  • Negotiate term sheets and legal documentation with financial sponsors and their legal counsel.
  • Collaborate with Natixis teams, including Coverage, Syndications, Sales & Trading, and Risk Department.

Requirements:

  • Strong credit background and experience in executing leveraged finance transactions.
  • Sound financial sponsor client-facing experience and proven track record of originating and executing LBO financings.
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent fluency in English, with French and/or German fluency an advantage.
