Job Title: VP Corporate Finance Relationship Manager – Acquisition Finance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice-President to join our ASF London team as a Corporate Finance Relationship Manager – Acquisition Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating and executing sponsor-driven and leveraged corporate acquisition finance transactions in the UK&I, DACH, Benelux, and Scandinavia.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Originate, arrange, and execute leveraged finance transactions predominantly for PE sponsors in UK and Northern Europe.
  • Identify deal opportunities and work with the Coverage teams to initiate initial engagement with potentially interested sponsors and corporates.
  • Manage the pitching phase, including initial analysis of the transaction, defining Natixis financing views, and preparing marketing materials.
  • Negotiate commercial points with the syndication team and manage the deal team in preparing internal presentations and materials.
  • Manage relationships with financial sponsors to agree commercial points, manage deal dynamics, and convince them to select Natixis as financing bank.
  • Evaluate and conduct in-depth analysis of new opportunities, focusing on credit and underwriting risks.
  • Manage internal credit process and present transactions to committees.
  • Ensure proactive monitoring and review of portfolio exposures.
  • Foster a client-centric culture and provide excellent service to external and internal clients.
  • Negotiate term sheets and legal documentation with financial sponsors and their legal counsel.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and leadership to execute transactions in coordination with various Natixis teams.
  • Train and develop junior team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Working practice of executing arranging leveraged finance transactions.
  • Strong credit background.
  • Sound financial sponsor client-facing experience.
  • Proven track record of originating and executing LBO financings, reviewing and negotiating term sheets and legal documentation.

General Skills:

  • Detail-oriented, organized, trustworthy, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal, communication, and interaction skills with financial sponsors.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Excellent fluency in English. French and/or German fluency would be an advantage.
