Job Title: VP Corporate Finance Relationship Manager – Acquisition Finance

About the Role:

The Natixis London Branch is seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP Corporate Finance Relationship Manager to join our Acquisition Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for originating and executing sponsor-driven and leveraged corporate acquisition finance transactions in the UK&I, DACH, Benelux, and Scandinavia.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Originate, arrange, and execute leveraged finance transactions predominantly for PE sponsors in UK and Northern Europe, while supporting broader leveraged finance origination in EMEA.
  2. Identify deal opportunities by working with the Coverage teams to initiate initial engagement with potentially interested sponsors and corporates.
  3. Manage the pitching phase, including initial analysis of the transaction, defining Natixis financing views, and preparing marketing materials.
  4. Negotiate commercial points with the syndication team and manage the deal team in preparing internal presentations and materials.
  5. Manage relationships with financial sponsors to agree commercial points, manage deal dynamics, and convince them to select Natixis as financing bank.
  6. Evaluate and conduct in-depth analysis of new opportunities, focusing on credit and underwriting risks.
  7. Manage internal credit process and present transactions to committees.
  8. Monitor and review portfolio exposures proactively.
  9. Foster a client-centric culture and provide excellent service to external and internal clients.
  10. Negotiate term sheets and legal documentation with financial sponsors and their legal counsel.
  11. Collaborate with Natixis teams, including Coverage, Syndications, Sales & Trading, and Risk Department.

Requirements:

  • Working practice of executing arranging leveraged finance transactions.
  • Strong credit background.
  • Sound financial sponsor client-facing experience.
  • Proven track record of originating and executing LBO financings.
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal, communication, and written skills.
  • Fluency in English, with French and/or German fluency an advantage.
