**Job Description**:
- The Global Client Group (GCG) is Dimensional’s distribution arm, comprising sales channels that target a diverse client set. By putting the client first, we strive to transform the way the world invests, and our solutions are a testament to the value provided to our clients. GCG is responsible for developing new business relationships as well as managing current relationships with our global clients. We take the time to understand clients’ evolving needs, identifying where we can add value and collaborating to provide a better investment experience.
- Our Institutional Group is responsible for working with large institutional clients across the the continent and the Middle East, including defined benefit and defined contribution plans, foundations, endowments, family offices, and corporations. Our team provide relationship management and analytical support to the Sales & Client Service teams in business development and retention activities for our clients. They will gain an understanding of clients’ evolving needs, identify where we can add value and collaborate to provide a better investment experience. Upon successful onboarding you will have the opportunity to work directly with clients, prospects and intermediaries to develop and expand personal and professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Seek opportunities for professional growth; mentor others by sharing expertise and experiences
- Develop a robust understanding of the institutional industry and related business practices
- Prepare presentation materials to be used in meetings with clients and prospects.
- Compile performance data, portfolio commentary and analytical material in preparation for meetings or in response to client inquiries
- Provide quality control for the data included in client reports and requests
- Maintain our CRM database, own the creation and deployment of marketing lists various events
- Own the procurement process that includes (but not limited to) RFP, RFI, Onboarding and Account Opening
- Communicate daily with internal groups, including operations, portfolio management, research, legal, compliance and marketing.
- Articulate Dimensional's investment philosophy and strategies to our clients and prospective clients
- Lead, develop and conduct industry-specific research to advance sales ideas in support of marketing campaigns
- Proactively identify and propose solutions to address client needs and ideas for new business opportunities
Qualifications, Experience and Characteristics Suitable for the Role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- Investment management industry experience, working with Institutional clients in a client support/relationship management capacity
- Strong analytical skills and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with capability of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
- Intellectual curiosity with desire for self-improvement
- Able to work equally well in a team environment and independently
- Self-starter who is capable of completing multiple projects within set deadlines
- Either currently holds or is able to complete IMC certification within 6 months of joining.
