About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Nurse to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a key member of our inpatient team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to young people aged 12-18 who are experiencing acute emotional, psychological, and behavioral difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage the needs of clients, developing and implementing individual care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide therapeutic support and interventions to clients, including formalized therapeutic contact and education.
  • Work closely with families and carers to ensure effective communication and support.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of prevention and management strategies for violence and aggression.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a safe and therapeutic environment.

Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
