Mental Health Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Nurse to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with acute emotional, psychological, and behavioral difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage the needs of clients, developing and implementing individual care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and support to clients, including family and carers, to promote recovery and well-being.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure seamless care and support.
- Supervise and support pre-registration students, promoting their professional development and growth.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current Effective Status on the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) register.
- Relevant experience of working in an inpatient team, with a commitment to collaborative working and supporting colleagues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and support.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining clinical skills and knowledge.
