Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Hedge Fund Analyst & Business Development Executive to join our innovative team at S.R Investment Partners. This role combines a deep understanding of hedge fund dynamics with strategic business development, aimed at enhancing our market presence and fostering growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Your diverse responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Growth Initiatives: Cultivating relationships and identifying new opportunities within investment management while strengthening our existing portfolio.
  • Client Engagement: Interacting with a wide range of institutional clients and prospects globally, managing investment relations, and developing partnership proposals.
  • Collaboration with Financial Experts: Engaging with portfolio managers, traders, and quantitative analysts to identify suitable strategies for clients.
  • Sales Expertise: Leveraging your sales experience to enhance market outreach and client acquisition.
  • Relationship Building: Establishing and nurturing connections with traders, quants, and portfolio managers to align strategies with client needs.
  • Quantitative Analysis: Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of various asset classes and providing insightful analysis to clients and traders.
  • Market Research: Conducting thorough research on companies, investment strategies, and funds to ensure our approaches remain competitive.
  • Team Leadership: Leading a focused team, instilling a global perspective, and driving performance metrics to optimize our strategic output.
  • Risk Assessment: Collaborating with analysts and traders to understand market trends and implement qualitative and quantitative risk management strategies.
  • Brand Development: Overseeing marketing initiatives to enhance our global brand presence and manage communication strategies.
  • Investment Oversight: Participating in hedge fund research and due diligence to align our strategies with market trends and investor requirements.
  • Client Relations: Engaging in client meetings and reviews to ensure our strategies support their business objectives.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Proven background in financial markets, particularly in hedge funds and business development, with a solid grasp of trading and quantitative strategies.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to guide a team towards achieving and surpassing performance targets while fostering an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Effective Communication: Skilled in engaging with diverse stakeholders, from fund managers to investors, and developing actionable plans.
  • Networking Proficiency: A well-established network within the industry, with a successful track record in managing the sales process.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to conduct in-depth research and analyze market participants to identify investment opportunities.
