Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hedge Fund Analyst & Business Development Executive to join our innovative team at S.R Investment Partners. This role combines a deep understanding of hedge fund analysis with strategic business development, emphasizing a proactive approach to creating opportunities within the financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Your diverse responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Business Development: Cultivating relationships and expanding both new and existing investment management avenues while enhancing our current portfolio.
  • Investor Relations: Engaging with a wide range of institutional clients and prospects globally, managing investment relations, and developing partnership proposals.
  • Collaboration with Portfolio Managers: Effectively communicating with traders and quantitative analysts to identify and select appropriate strategies.
  • Sales Expertise: Leveraging your sales experience to navigate the markets effectively.
  • Relationship Building: Establishing and nurturing connections with traders, quants, and portfolio managers to determine suitable strategies for clients.
  • Quantitative Trading Insights: Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of various asset classes and providing analytical insights to clients and traders.
  • Research & Analysis: Conducting thorough research on companies, investment strategies, and funds to ensure our methods remain ahead of market trends.
  • Team Leadership: Leading a focused team, instilling a global perspective, and driving key performance indicators to enhance our strategic and operational effectiveness.
  • Risk Management: Collaborating with analysts and traders to analyze market trends and implement qualitative and quantitative risk assessment strategies.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Directing marketing efforts to boost global brand visibility and managing communication materials.
  • Investment Management: Engaging in hedge fund research and due diligence to align our strategies with investor needs and market dynamics.
  • Client Engagement: Actively participating in client meetings and reviews, ensuring our strategies align with their business objectives.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Proven background in financial markets, particularly in asset classes, hedge funds, and business development, complemented by a solid understanding of trading and quantitative strategies.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to guide a team towards achieving and surpassing key performance indicators, fostering an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Effective Communication: Proficient in engaging with various stakeholders, from Fund Managers to Investors, and crafting actionable plans and objectives.
  • Networking Ability: A robust network within the industry, with a history of successfully managing the sales process and establishing vital relationships.
  • Analytical Skills: Capacity to conduct in-depth research, analyze market participants, and intuitively identify investment opportunities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with databases and ensuring data accuracy.
