About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Lead to join our dynamic team at Homes England. As a key member of our Data and Analytics Directorate, you will play a crucial role in driving the development, implementation, and operation of data governance policies and standards.

As a Data Governance Lead, you will work closely with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and other key stakeholders to embed robust data management practices and drive the organisation's data strategy forward. This is a leadership role that requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and collaborative leadership.

About You

We are looking for a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of data governance frameworks and the ability to apply this knowledge to drive impactful outcomes. You should have experience leading teams and managing stakeholders, and be able to communicate complex data governance concepts to various audiences in a clear and compelling manner.

You should be resilient and comfortable managing change, with the tenacity to see initiatives through to completion, even in the face of challenges. You should also be committed to continuous improvement in your work and have a proven track record of delivering data governance initiatives.
