About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our dedicated team specializing in dementia care. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing holistic support and personalized care to individuals living with dementia, ensuring their well-being and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering person-centered care plans tailored to the individual needs of patients with dementia.
- Assessing, monitoring, and evaluating patient health status, identifying any changes or concerns.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, social workers, and therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
- Educating patients, families, and caregivers about dementia, its progression, and available support services.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Experience in dementia care is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and person-centered care.
