About the Role

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health crises in our acute hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage risk, providing crisis intervention and management to patients in need.
- Develop and implement therapeutic engagement strategies to support patients in groups.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients with complex mental health needs.
- Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring patient-centered and evidence-based practice.
- Contribute to the education and training of healthcare professionals, promoting best practice and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with experience in mental health settings.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, crisis management, and therapeutic engagement strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
