About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Housing Support Specialist to join our team at Hastings Foyer. As a key member of our support team, you will work closely with young people aged 16-25 to alleviate the risk of or impact of homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive, creative, and effective support to young people to develop their assets and talents.
  • Contribute to the smooth and safe running of the service by providing consistency and reliability.
  • Work collaboratively with the support team, night team, and management to ensure the well-being and safety of residents.
About You

We are looking for an individual with experience of working with a similar client group and a good understanding of the key risks, challenges, and opportunities for young people. You will be able to inspire and work proactively with young people to develop their talents and achieve the skills they need to maintain their lives independently.

An excellent planner and organiser, you will be able to manage lots of tasks at the same time and keep appropriate records. Furthermore, you will be able to build strong relationships with other members of your team and ensure that handovers are robust and clear.
