About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Delivery Manager to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the frontline collection service and supervise up to 60 employees
  • Ensure the budget is met and used to maximise productivity
  • Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently
  • Reduce lost work hours due to sickness, accidents and injuries
  • Manage fleet compliance including daily checks and ensure vehicles are compliant with the Road Transport Directive, Working Time Regulations and Waste Regulations
  • Investigate safety incidents, underperformance and disciplinary incidents
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage staff usage and agency costs
  • Manage people & assets to deliver efficient & profitable service
  • Arrange site inspections
Requirements
  • Experience in training staff and delivering toolbox talks, e.g. manual handling trainer
  • Strong people management and team leadership skills
  • Stakeholder relationship management
  • Driving Licence
  • Waste and/or Fleet management experience
  • Previous use of digital systems to manage services & people - Desirable
  • IOSH Managing Safely/NEBOSH - Desirable
  • Level 5 Leadership & Management or equivalent work experience, Transport CPC, COTC/CMS - Desirable
