Key Responsibilities:
- Lead customer account management matters and serve as the primary point of contact
- Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships, fostering trust and loyalty
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and revenue
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders
- Ensure timely delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Identify new business opportunities with existing clients and areas for improvement to meet sales quotas
- Forecast and track key account metrics, including quarterly sales results and annual forecasts
- Prepare reports on account status and performance
- Collaborate with the management team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field
- Proven success as a Sales Manager, including multi-year sales growth with customers and consistent achievement of quotas
- Experience selling DIY services, solutions, or products in an online retail environment
- Experience working with mass-market retailers in the UK market, including ASDA, Sainsbury's, Amazon, B&Q, Argos, Tesco, Screwfix, Dunelm, Halford's, and others
- Online savvy with a critical eye regarding online content and reviews as an end-user/consumer
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all levels of an organization
- Solid experience with MS Office, particularly MS Excel
- Familiarity with SAP Advantage, but not required
- Detail-oriented with experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Ability to juggle multiple account management projects while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel 60% of the time
