A prominent global manufacturer is seeking a Procurement Support Specialist to enhance their team.

In the role of Procurement Support Specialist, you will assist the Procurement department and the overall site operations by managing necessary purchase orders.

This position requires effective communication with all internal departments as well as external suppliers and contractors.

Your responsibilities will include supporting all site procurement activities related to recurring items such as personal protective equipment (PPE), engineering components, packaging materials, consumables, and other unique items for company events.

As a Procurement Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will involve:


  • Generating and processing purchase orders as needed
  • Monitoring stock levels for consumables throughout the site
  • Identifying services and components while negotiating with suppliers
  • Registering new suppliers in the ERP System
  • Participating in supplier meetings
  • Overseeing supplier service quality

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Prior experience in a Procurement Assistant or Procurement Administrator role
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering context is preferred but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier communication and negotiation
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
