Join a company that prioritizes your professional growth and invests in your development through funded certifications and training opportunities.

About the Role:
Leo Recruitment Limited is on the lookout for a Senior Technical Engineer to join a prestigious Microsoft Gold Partner based in Dorset. With a legacy of around 30 years, this organization is celebrated for its tailored infrastructure solutions and exceptional customer service.

What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary up to £65,000 per annum.
  • Profit-sharing scheme through an employee ownership trust.
  • Generous car allowance (approximately £5,000 per annum).
  • Company-funded training courses and certifications.
  • Opportunities for career advancement.
  • 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Private healthcare coverage.
  • Pension scheme.
  • Complimentary on-site parking.
  • Engaging social events and team-building activities.
  • Flexible working arrangements and remote work options.
  • A modern office environment that fosters productivity and enjoyment.

Your Responsibilities:
As a Senior Technical Engineer, you will:
  • Lead complex cloud migration and digital transformation initiatives for both SMEs and enterprise clients.
  • Plan and organize workloads while executing tasks in accordance with established standards.
  • Demonstrate expertise across various technology domains, serving as a senior team member and providing mentorship to junior staff.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • Extensive hands-on experience in implementing and migrating complex cloud infrastructure environments, particularly with Microsoft Azure technologies (or AWS with strong Microsoft skills in on-premises technologies).
  • A background in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment or a significant multi-server setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Azure Virtual Desktop or equivalent VDI technologies.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft 365, with a focus on security and compliance.
  • A solid understanding of VMware or similar virtualization platforms.
  • A valid driving license for travel purposes.

Location:
This role allows for some remote work; however, it requires travel to client sites, primarily in the Dorset and Hampshire areas, sometimes on short notice. Attendance at the office is also necessary, so candidates should be located within the local area.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with some flexibility available.
