With a commitment to continuous improvement, they are now expanding their maintenance team and are looking for skilled Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Disciplined Engineers to join their team.

The Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of the production process. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Responding swiftly to unexpected issues in the work environment to minimise disruptions to the business
  2. Assisting the team in achieving key departmental KPIs such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair)
  3. Scheduling machine downtime with production to perform necessary maintenance, repairs, or modifications
  4. Analysing equipment history, assessing breakdowns, and taking corrective action to reduce machine downtime
  5. Providing technical assistance, documenting processes, and creating manuals and drawings to facilitate quick machine recovery

What You'll Bring:

  1. Recognised engineering apprenticeship and hands-on experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing setting
  2. Minimum ONC or City & Guilds Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
  3. Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and handle a variety of maintenance tasks
  4. PLC fault-finding experience (Allen Bradley/Mitsubishi is desirable)
  5. Proficiency with machine tools and experience working with AC, DC, and Servo Drives
  6. Solid understanding of maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices
