About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a well-established FMCG company in Bradford. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance on all production equipment, collaborating with team members to troubleshoot and solve production issues, and ensuring all machinery is compliant with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance on all production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve production issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure all machinery is compliant with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide training to other staff members on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Participate in project work to install new equipment or upgrade existing machinery.
  • Document all maintenance work and report any major issues to management.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of spare parts and tools required for maintenance work.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in Engineering, such as a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry, with a strong understanding of production equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations within an engineering and manufacturing environment.
