Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Kinetic plc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of plant and equipment, as well as ensuring the overall site maintenance is carried out to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned and preventative maintenance activities to maximise plant reliability.
  • Conduct emergency repairs in a safe and timely manner.
  • Contribute to system and process improvements, and take responsibility for organising safety checks and inspections.
  • Maintain stock levels of machinery spares and consumables.
  • Implement best practice H&S measures and assist in further development and improvement of existing maintenance procedures.
  • Responsibility for contractor control on site.
  • Reactive maintenance in FMCG industry required.
Requirements:
  • Served either a mechanical or electrical engineering recognised apprenticeship, or 5 year time served FMCG Electro mechanical Maintenance experience.
  • Proven certifications in NVQ/BTEC/HNC/HND Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Pneumatics, hydraulics, installations, commissioning and PLC 17th or 18th edition wiring regulations.
  • Electrical maintenance within FMCG/manufacturing environment.
  • SAP or other business systems experience.
