About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a well-established FMCG company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on all production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure all machinery is compliant with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to other staff members on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Participate in project work to install new equipment or upgrade existing machinery, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
  • Document all maintenance work and report any major issues to management for prompt attention.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of spare parts and tools required for maintenance work.
Requirements
  • A relevant qualification in Engineering, such as a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry, with a strong understanding of production equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations within an engineering and manufacturing environment.
