Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a manufacturing business based in Bradford. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the regulatory compliance of equipment and facilities, undertaking maintenance operations, and inputting information into the Engineering Management System.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of equipment and facilities.
  • Undertake any maintenance operations at site.
  • Assure information required for the Engineering Management System is inputted correctly.
  • Conducting electrical diagnostic and fault-finding activities.

Candidates for this role should have experience within an engineering role, ideally with an electrical bias. Previous experience working with overhead cranes/hoists would be beneficial. This role will cover both facilities maintenance as well as production equipment.

Working Hours and Benefits:

This is a permanent role where you will be expected to work 8am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 2pm on a Friday. In return, you can expect a base salary of £35k, plus a bonus paid twice a year. There is overtime available and an on-call rota to boost salary.
