Igloo is currently seeking a skilled operations administrator for a prominent client in the transport sector.
This client is a well-established company specializing in the movement of both new and pre-owned vehicles throughout the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Distribute tasks to Compound Drivers utilizing PDA and proprietary systems.
- Engage in direct communication with Compound Drivers.
- Update and manage operational databases and spreadsheets.
- Compile and assess operational reports.
- Provide assistance to the operational team and take on additional responsibilities as required.
- Maintain effective communication within the team and offer constructive feedback.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in operations with the capability to perform under pressure.
- Strong IT proficiency and the ability to adapt to new IT systems and databases, particularly Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Dependable, punctual, and dedicated work ethic.
- Ability to collaborate within a team as well as work independently.
