Position Overview

An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a skilled clinician aiming to advance into the role of Senior Spinal Physiotherapy Specialist within our Back and Neck Service at Allied Health Professionals Suffolk CIC. This position necessitates advanced clinical expertise in the evaluation and treatment of spinal disorders.

We seek a dedicated clinician to join our Back and Neck Service, becoming an integral part of a highly skilled clinical team. The role involves working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team alongside spinal and pain specialists to manage a diverse caseload of chronic and sub-acute back and neck pain.

This is a full-time position, with responsibilities distributed across our various service locations.

Key Responsibilities

The clinician will:

  • Deliver expert, advanced clinical care with full professional independence, encompassing patient evaluations, diagnostic procedures, and management strategies for a complex patient demographic within the Back and Neck Service.
  • Provide professional and clinical guidance for spinal care in collaboration with Advanced Practitioner colleagues, under the mentorship of the Lead Advanced Practice Physiotherapist and Spinal Advanced Practice Physiotherapist.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with other Advanced Practitioners, spinal consultants, pain specialists, general practitioners, and established physiotherapists in both primary and secondary care to enhance and expand the Back and Neck service and spinal physiotherapy offerings.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree or graduate diploma in a relevant therapy.
  • A minimum of five years of significant post-qualification experience in Musculoskeletal or Spinal roles.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Evidence of ongoing professional education.
