As a Trainee Estimator/Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project management team in organizing the estimating of material costs and managing tasks on project plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the execution of project plans, including reading scope of works and interpreting procurement schedules
- Support the project team in organizing estimating of material costs and purchasing and delivering construction materials and labor
- Manage tasks on project plans, including coordinating with senior staff and communicating professionally at a high level
- High level of organizational skills and a positive can-do attitude
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and ability to learn specialist software for interpreting and performing take-offs of estimates from drawings
- Formal training and education in construction or experience within a construction company or similar business
- Excellent listening and analytical skills, with ability to communicate professionally at a high level
- Competitive salary from £17,665 for candidates aged up to 20 and £23,498 for candidates aged over 21
- Pension, 23 days per year plus bank holidays, and opportunity to gain experience and training
