Job Title: SHE Manager, Food Manufacturing

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SHE Manager to oversee Health, Safety, and Environment legal requirements, policies, standards, and procedures for a busy food manufacturing site.

About the Role:

As SHE Manager, you will report into the Head of Operations for a busy food manufacturing business. You will be responsible for ensuring that all Health, Safety, and Environment legal requirements, policies, standards, and procedures are compliant with current legislation and company policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment legal requirements, policies, standards, and procedures
  • Co-ordinate business actions with enforcement authorities and loss adjusters
  • Promote and drive a culture of continuous improvement of Health and Safety
  • Coordinate SHE training, design, implement, monitor, and report on SHE performance
  • Deliver SHE targets and strategies

Requirements:

  • Experience as SHE Manager in a Food or FMCG manufacturing business
  • Diploma level NEBOSH H&S and Environmental qualification or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills, verbal, presentation skills, and written
  • Ability to influence at a senior level and champion / implement change
  • Demonstrable compliance to legislation
