Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SHE Manager to join our team at Focus Management Consultants. As an SHE Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Health, Safety, and Environment (SHE) legal requirements, policies, standards, and procedures for a busy food manufacturing site.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in SHE management, with experience in a UK Food or FMCG manufacturing business. You will be responsible for ensuring that all SHE legal requirements, policies, standards, and procedures are compliant with current legislation and company policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with SHE legal requirements, policies, standards, and procedures
  • Co-ordinate business actions with enforcement authorities and loss adjusters
  • Promote and drive a culture of continuous improvement of Health and Safety
  • Coordinate SHE training and design, implement, monitor, and report on SHE performance
  • Deliver SHE targets and strategies

Requirements:

  • Experience as SHE Manager in a Food or FMCG manufacturing business
  • Diploma level NEBOSH H&S and Environmental qualification or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills, verbal, presentation skills, and written
  • Ability to influence at a senior level and champion / implement change
  • Demonstrable compliance to legislation
