We are excited to announce an opening for a Housing Officer to join our dedicated team.

In this role, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule, balancing remote work, office duties, and direct engagement with our clients.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary range of £32,000 to £38,000, commensurate with your experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Housing Officer, you will provide a professional and high-quality service across various tenures, utilizing your expertise to address a variety of housing management issues.

Your responsibilities may include managing cases related to anti-social behavior, neighborhood concerns, contract violations, fraud, and safeguarding matters.

You will play a crucial role in maintaining safe communities, actively listening to customer feedback, and implementing necessary changes.

Your workload will include a mix of case management and project work, contributing to the development of sustainable communities that foster inclusivity.

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • The capability to effectively manage a diverse and complex caseload.
  • Excellent communication skills, with prior experience in customer-facing roles in challenging environments.
  • A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service, contributing to high satisfaction rates.
  • Familiarity with housing management services.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, contractors, and partner organizations.
  • Some positions may involve supervisory responsibilities for Scheme Officers in our Housing for Older People initiatives.
  • A valid UK driving license and access to personal transportation.

A DBS check will be conducted for the successful candidate.
