We are seeking a skilled Gas Service and Repair Specialist to join our team at MarkMay, a leading provider of heating services in the private housing sector. As a Gas System Maintenance Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of residents by servicing, repairing, and maintaining gas systems within private housing properties.

Our company is dedicated to enhancing the living conditions of private housing communities, and we are expanding our network to provide top-notch gas repairs to meet the growing needs of our clients. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and Repair: Identify faults and repair or replace parts to restore functionality.
  • Conduct Safety Checks: Perform routine safety inspections for leaks and emissions.
  • Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers about issues, repairs, and safety.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Complete service reports and ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance to prevent future breakdowns.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Gas Service and Repair Specialist
  • CENWAT, CCN1, HTR1, CKR- ESSENTIAL
  • Gas Safe registered with relevant certifications and qualifications
  • Thorough knowledge of gas appliances, systems, and safety regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • License - No more than 6 points
  • Must have a Min of 6 months on ACS
