We are seeking a skilled Gas Service and Repair Engineer to join our team at MarkMay, a leading provider of heating solutions for private housing communities. As a permanent member of our network, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining gas systems within private housing properties.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in gas systems, with experience in diagnosing and repairing faults, conducting safety checks, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gas System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of gas systems.
  • Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Identify and repair faults in gas systems, including leaks and emissions.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with clients about issues, repairs, and safety.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to regulations and complete service reports as required.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance to prevent future breakdowns and ensure the longevity of gas systems.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Proven experience as a Gas Service and Repair Engineer, CENWAT, CCN1, HTR1, CKR- ESSENTIAL, Gas Safe registered with relevant certifications and qualifications.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Thorough knowledge of gas appliances, systems, and safety regulations, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • License: No more than 6 points, minimum 6 months on ACS.
