About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Premises Officer to join our team at Leicestershire County Council. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of our conference centre and registration service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the maintenance and upkeep of our premises, including buildings and grounds.
  • Ensure the security and safety of our facilities, staff, and visitors.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to our clients and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with our maintenance team to undertake DIY and maintenance tasks.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and data related to our facilities.

Requirements

  • Some training in Health and Safety at work.
  • Experience in caretaking duties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant experience of undertaking DIY and maintenance tasks.
  • Literacy and numeracy skills to read and understand instructions, manage records, and enter data into IT systems.
