Job Title: IT / Facilities Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT / Facilities Assistant to join our team at St. Columba's Hospice in Edinburgh. As an IT / Facilities Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the IT and phone systems within the Hospice, ensuring seamless operations and providing excellent support to our staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to and resolve basic IT and phone faults reported through our faults reporting system
  • Investigate and repair IT issues where possible
  • Set up new starters with ID badges, printer, and computer logins
  • Deal with office moves, setting up IT equipment for booked events, and other AV requirements
Requirements:
  • Suitable IT qualification, such as an SVQ or City & Guilds, or relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
