We are seeking a seasoned contracts negotiator to join our dynamic Legal Team at Version 1. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts with customers, partners, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Review and negotiate Master Services Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements with a keen eye for detail, identifying potential risks and areas of concern.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various functions to develop internal policies, procedures, and best practices related to contracts.
- Provide expert advice to the business on contract-related matters, balancing risk against reward and ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Escalate policy deviations to designated approvers and communicate contract risks in a clear and concise manner.
- Work closely with the business to develop solutions that meet their needs, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial contract review, preferably in IT Services.
- Strong knowledge of public sector IT frameworks in the UK.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Business acumen and the ability to think strategically.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
