About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient IT Admin Clerk to join our team at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Corporate Operational structure, you will work closely with Patient Access, Medical Records, and Divisional operational teams to ensure the effective use of IT systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to maximize the effective use of your time and that of system users.
  • Use initiative to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and data, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Collaborate with Divisional Management teams to create, amend, and upload letter templates, adhering to NHS policies and guidance.
  • Test new software releases in the relevant test environment, reporting errors to software suppliers before loading onto the live environment.
  • Provide non-technical advice to users on Data Quality issues via telephone and email.
  • Regularly undertake and ensure Data Quality audits are completed.
  • Produce and analyze Duplicate Registration reports, discussing findings with the Medical Records Manager to ensure case notes and ICS PAS are merged.
  • Produce and update PAS missing data reports in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Prince 2 Foundation or equivalent.
  • Experience of accurate and timely data entry and producing reports.
  • Data Quality Experience and Data Standards Knowledge.
  • Sound understanding of Information Governance, including Data Protection and Confidentiality.
  • Importing and presenting data using Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to analyze complex data.
  • Deliver timely and accurate data while working under pressure.
