Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Mental Health Team in Basingstoke. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with patients to provide expert assessment, guidance, and recommendation, resulting in a genuinely holistic Occupational Therapy role.
Main Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy interventions for referred clients using evidence-based, client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
- Complete OT functional assessments and support completion of funding applications.
- Hold a small Care Coordinator caseload alongside a focused Occupational Therapy caseload.
- Participate in the Shared Care rota and promote and develop the role of Occupational Therapy within the clinical area.
- Regularly supervise OT students and provide education and upskilling to community support workers.
