About the Role:- Lead a team of support workers to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.
- Ensure the home is a safe and welcoming environment for all residents, with a focus on promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each resident, in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, including incident reports, risk assessments, and care plans.
- Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure that residents receive high-quality medical care and support.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and Birtenshaw policies and procedures.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- At least two years' experience in a children's home, with a minimum of one year in a supervisory or management role.
- Experience of working with children and young people with complex needs, including those with autism, learning disabilities, and physical impairments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
- A competitive salary of £43,000-£50,000 per annum, with a relocation package of up to £8,000 available.
