About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Ward Clerk. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide essential support to our ward staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the ward team, including data entry, typing, and scanning.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distribution.
- Handle phone calls and face-to-face interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and order stationery and other supplies as needed.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required by the Matron, Clinical Team Lead, or Senior Administrator.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a busy office or reception environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft systems, including data inputting and typing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
