Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute experimental studies to support project goals and deliver data to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DMPK expertise into project planning and execution.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of preclinical pharmacokinetics, toxicokinetics, and related disciplines.
  • Apply expertise in physical properties, DMPK, and enzymology to inform compound design and optimization.
  • Work with project teams to resolve ADME challenges and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare and review DMPK sections of regulatory documents, including IND, IMPD, and NDA submissions.
  • Contribute to research aligned with our portfolio and publish papers in reputable scientific journals.
  • Provide scientific mentorship to junior staff and support their professional development.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Drug Metabolism, or related field, with 7+ years of postdoctoral industrial experience, or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive understanding of discovery and development DMPK, including modeling and simulation.
  • Proven ability to integrate DMPK expertise into project planning and execution.
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
  • Strong track record of experience in DMPK/ADME, ADME/Enzymology/Drug Transporters, and PKPD.
  • Understanding of PKPD and PBPK modeling, with a proven ability to apply this knowledge to support late-stage programs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor junior staff.
